Eds - Any truth Asier Illarramendi rumour? Apparently we've made an £18mil bid for a deadline day deal.

WTF is everyone's attraction to arsenal? Are they dying to be part of the race for top 4. Do they offer ridiculous wages? I don't get it.
What's attractive about a team that win nothing and get spanked every time a tough team comes along.

LOL Benny C I came here to write exactly what you did! I think it's down to the fact that they are in Champs league more or less every season! Also I suppose London is a big draw as well

Arsenal is probably the biggest team in Europe people can go to where

1 - they can almost guarentee going straight into the first team if they are top quality even if they aren't in the worlds top 20 or so.
2 - they get full fan support without the need to prove anything
3 - they get to live in one of the worlds metropolitan capitals (as much as I like Liverpool, I know where I'd like to live as a multi millionaire)
