Just seen the Sterling reports coming out, he won't sign a new contract. He feels bullied and let down by the club.

Looks like he will be on his way then Eds??

{Ed001's Note - the club have badly mishandled it. They pushed him into a corner. He is just one of many who are unhappy, it is in need of a clean sweep or we risk a mess like the one at QPR and Newcastle.}

Ffs what a joke mate were turning out to be. It's hard to see any positives through all the badness at the minute. How will this Sterling thing end? With him gone in the summer no doubt.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know. It could all change yet, but the likes of Lucas and Sterling look set to join Gerrard, Carra, Maxi and Kuyt as players driven out by Rodgers.}

A little dramatic don't you think. A young kid who thinks he's a world beater wants to leave and the club is in turmoil. Not sure I agree. Sterling is good, but there are better players. QPR and Newcastle is a little extreme. Also, pushing a kid into a corner? I'm sure the salary on offer is way beyond most 19,20 year olds. I'm pretty sure he got a nice break at Christmas too. £100k a week and a sebatical. Sorry, not meaning to be heavy handed with you Eds, it's the whole Sterling situation that's all a bit rich. Every year someone wants to hold the club to ransom. Unless you know something we don't I can't see what the club has done wrong.

{Ed001's Note - you clearly are only reading the crap put out in the media by the club about him holding the club to ransom over money. It was never about the money as we have told you repeatedly. We have allowed a manager to mess about with a young lad's career and now he wants to move on and win something, as he knows we will never win anything under Rodgers.}

Ed001, is there a particular couple of people at the root of the problem or is it an issue from top to bottom?

{Ed001's Note - there is one man at the root of most of the problems and he is so busy talking about being outstanding between topping up his fake tan and having his teeth whitened that he has taken his eye off the ball. His man management skills are non-existent, he doesn't have the steady platform he had at Swansea and lack of egos to deal with. Here he has big names, with big egos, and he simply can't deal with it.}

That's what I thought you would say Ed, thanks. It will hopefully be the beginning of the end for Rodgers now. If Rodgers does get the bullet, do you think that Lucas and Sterling could stay or is the damage done?

{Ed001's Note - it really depends on who is in charge, a new man might not want them to stay.}

Ed001 are we looking at anyone? Surely kloppers with zidane most likely going to madrid and carlo likely at city???

{Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry, we don't seem to have made any moves to get someone in yet.}

That he didn't get his own way?

Sell in the summer As simple as that, who does the boy think he is?

Sturridge, Continuo and Hendon all signed. I really don't care about raheem!

Everyone's Saying the players want the.manager out, and I think that is an absolute disgrace that it's even mentioned like it is normal, do you know how many of us wake up Monday to go to work for someone wr don't lik, but the key ingredient is JUST GET ON WITH IT YOU WHINY BABY, YOUR GETTING PAID END OF.

I think it's more than that LFC - you want young players to feel inspired to play for LFC and feel that they can achieve their ambitions with the club and clearly that's the problem here. No top top players will simply play for money.

I personally don't think Sterling leaving is a problem on own, in fact I've argued elsewhere I'd rather sell him to buy a top striker or CDM given the overabundance of attacking mids in the side, but its the message he's sending that concerns me.

The vision and ambition of the side are key to holding top talent and that's the job of leadership to inspire, especially the manager. I'm not surprised it's being questioned though given the multiple formations, position switches, key players being frozen out/subbed this season hence why I think Rogers is under question.
