BBC reported today that Sterling has been left out on tour.

Wish they would hurry up and sell him as long as we don't waste the money

I'm sure the powers that be finally realised that the "magical" £50 Million offer they wanted (or hoped for) was never going to materialise, thus the inevitable sale had to take place now or run the risk of "losing" an "asset" further down the line for far less.

The player had again shown his hand this week, even if we kept him, and Rodgers naively played him, I doubt he would have tried one iota unlike Suarez.

Deep down I like Sterling, but for the greater good of the Club he had to go and I;m glad he is taking that parasitic, poor excuse for an agent with him . I might be totally wrong, but in years to come I think he will regret the whole sage.

I wonder what he will say about LFC once he has left; I doubt somehow there will be any fondness for the club like there has been from Suarez, and even Torres.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we should be surprised.

No £50 million - then no sale, I hope FSG stick to their guns.

Spot on, Guru! The 50m price tag was a pipe dream and I will be surprised if it is indeed that price but I'm open to being proven wrong

£49 MILLION agreed . probably £44 or £45 with add ons! (don't forget the fee we have to pay QPR)

If we are really interested in Pedro than I think Chelsea's "sniffing" may have contributed slightly in the change of stance and the agreed sale.
