For his own sake he needs to move on and grow up.

thanks for the reply ed002, Mario is entering the last chance salon as far as his career is concerned, frankly summing it up perfectly.

Kk7, I think his last chance already passed.

it looks like Balo will sign for French club Nice, think they had some Chinese investment also, this is his last year of his contract with Liverpool, so it won't be too long and we can wish him all the best, yes he is a bit immature and a bit crazy, but he is also a likable person .

Can't really blame the guy if any of us were told our wages were being cut to 20% of what they are we would stay too.

Absolutely not wobsworth. I would take the cut, it would still be amazing wages compared to us mere mortals and work as hard as I could to get my career back on track. If he doesn't do that at a bare minimum then he is finished.

Why are we talking about Balo as if he's a rational individual? We all know he's not so the acceptance of a pay cut or not, does not come in.

I used to like balo before he came to Liverpool, I thought he was a funny character. I think we all wanted him to work out and at least be in and around the team. But he just hasn't got the maturity to understand certain things. His last chance to grow up has gone for me. Maybe when he's 30 and probably retired at this rate, he will realise how much he messed up.

Kman, he will still have millions in the bank an live a lavish life until his dying day, even if he retires now. He will not learn a lesson because he doesn't want to. He simply is not arsed.

Red-mist your talking crap to say you'd drop your wages to 20% to do the same job.
