Realistically I would demand £70m+ for Couts. He's still young and his performances are getting better and better and his consistency is also improving massively. Especially if Barcelona and PSG are interested as well

I would also say GBP 60-70 million but still no interest in selling as he's worth more to us. Him and Firmino together should be the base of our attack for years to come - they have the potential to be telepathic and unstoppable if we give them time together. They think and move the same way, yet are still complementary in style.

Let's be realistic, he is a 24 year old left forward who has never scored double figures in a single LEAGUE campaign. Goals are ultimately what attacking players are judged on and for whatever reason, Coutinho doesn't score enough to put him in the £70m bracket. Ed025 is about right, he is worth £50m in todays inflated market. Although, I am hoping we get a big bid from China if he is to go! In their market he is worth £90m!

Could we replace him for £50m? Doubtful. Although we did pay a relative tuppence for him.

I would be upset if the club sold him even for £70m unless there was a suitable replacement available for less.

And I would hope the club were more astute in finding that replacement than when Suarez left, and Sanchez fell through.

I'd suggest bringing a youngster through, but who? TAA seems to be the pick of the bunch but could he fill PC's role?
