With you Keita and Mertens, but we need a left back capable of playing a full season in the Premier League who's good enough for the Champions League. Sessegnon is a great young talent but he's not there yet. By all means sign him and possibly loan him back or integrate him slowly, but we still need a player that matches the above criteria.

Half of those are unlikely - from what I can see LW is a priority with Brandt top pick but alternatives being considered as Brandt wants first team assurances. FB is the other priority with Pereira and Sessegnon targets but again others being looked at. Seems like Keita has fallen away with Can proving himself a capable understudy for Hendo and Coutinho likely to play a bit deeper next season. A signing CB seems uncertain but less likely (although I'd like to see one) . Others being looked at seem to be strikers like Luan or Malcolm but likely depends if Sturridge leaves.

Hopefully Coutinho stays and we see a couple of tweaks rather than major surgery and we are challenging next year.
