Eds is there any truth do you know in the rumours circulating about Sturridge turning down a big offer from China?

And if true does that mean LFC accepted the offer in the first place?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know.}

Not many players will be going china this year. Its a world cup year, hopefully we keep stuge fit so he can fire his way back into that starting 11.

{Ed002's Note - The Chinese Transfer Window is now closed.}

Considering Klopp does not intend to sign a striker this window, letting Sturridge go would be nothing short of suicidal. He is a top class finisher when fit, and it would not make sense to put the goalscoring burden on a 19 year old Solanke and a 21 year old Origi.

He's as fragile as china.

Goes to pieces when dropped.

I personally I hope Mr Kopp does sign another striker in this window. Surely Sturridge has has plenty of time to prove himself and since the great Luis Surez left he has been on borrowed time. Sure he is a class player but how long do we have to wait.?
Having seen young Solanke in two preseason friendlies. I think this young boy has a lot of promise but couldn't run the line quiet yet.
We need a solid centre back and a holding midfielder and a world class striker. Love this site.
