ed001.002 or 025 i know you have done sharkpod and said a few weeks ago who we should sign but who do you now think the club will sign and get rid off and you are the ever LFC guardian you all the best.

{Ed002's Note - I don't think anything has really changed in terms of the club wanting to sell the likes of Moreno, Sakho, Markovic, etc.. Right now they are eached priced out of a move. If Coutinho were to move to Barcelona then they could look to adding from the Barcelona surplus list and they could look again to the likes of Vazquez. Oxlade-Chamberlain may well remain a target.}

Why would we look to barcas "surplus" list for our star player? What an awful mentality.

Em, Barcelona have released many players on their surplus list in the last few years. Sanchez, Pedro and zlat are 3 off the top of my head that were 'surplus'. It's not like It's QPR offering up their reserves and obviously if klopp doesn't want any he won't take any. So what's the issue? Obviously the best thing would be not to sell.

You can't really replace couts so any exchange is unlikely to be a direct replacement, whoever were to come in would mean a slight change in how klopp wants to play and adapt to different players' strengths.

As ed25 has said we already have the perfect replacement if coutinho does leave. firminho would shine in his natural role. You all need to calm down a few decibels bigger and better have left over the years.

That's the point Indian, there no player Barcelona can offer us to replace him but that doesn't mean 'Someone they would allow to leave wouldn't improve us. If klopp thinks they could and accepts an exchange who am I to say he's wrong!

Ed would you care to shed some light on who Barcelona may view as tradeable if they can get Coutinho? Read somewhere Rakitic may be available too.

{Ed002's Note - Aleix Vidal (RB), Andre Gomes (M), Ivan Rakitic (M), Paco Alcacer (S), Arda Turan (LW), Lucas Digne (LB), Denis Suarez (M), Javier Mascherano (M/CB).}

Thanks mate - brilliant.

All decent players, but I'd still keep coutinho even if they offered the lot of them, coutinho is yet to Hit his peak years.

Ed002, do you think the club would be more inclined in taking a deal including players? From the list given Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes both had good seasons before joining Barcelona at Villarreal and Valencia.

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know but unless a club is actually interested in a player it makes little sense to take them.}

Rakitic would be the only one worht considering and even then I'd have to say, if it meant Coutinho leaving, a massive no thank you. Not inspiring that we may look to another teams cast-offs to be honest.

Aleix Vidal (RB) - Not particularly that good, not an upgrade on Clyne.
Andre Gomes (M) - Hasn't set the world alight.
Ivan Rakitic (M) - Past it, best days are long gone.
Paco Alcacer (S) - Not particularly good, too lightweight for the English game.
Arda Turan (LW) - Past it, best days are long gone.
Lucas Digne (LB) - Already signed a left back.
Denis Suarez (M) - Lightweight, not an upgrade on Coutinho, never been that fussed about the hype, is he any better than Suso who also failed?
Javier Mascherano (M/ DF) - Past it.

In short there's no one on that list I'd want.

If we had £100m burning a hole in our pocket, would we target any of those players?
I doubt it. That's the acid test in player exchanges.
