This is the sort of player we should be targetting. A real leader, with great aerial strength, who we know plays well alongside Matip as a bonus.

Additionally, he can play right back. Not that i want him to, but it just means if Arnold/ Moreno got caught up field, Howedes is comfortable defending in wide areas.

Hope to god this is true. Better player than VVD by a country mile.

The only thing he said was "England is interessting" that's it. The main Reason these "rumours" came up is that he isn't captain anymore because the coach thinks he is not good enough to make their first team.

Would be a good sining for the moment (keep in mind he is 29) if it would happen but i don't think he will go anywhere this season (also plays for schalke for 16 years now)

' He then went on to say that he likes what he has already and that he doesn't know if we'll be involved come August 31st. I'm hoping he means we won't be involved on deadline day as we're signing people/ someone beforehand but, I'm really starting to worry now whereas I'm usually positive.
