Fenerbahce have made an offer for Lazar Markovic on a one-year loan according to the Turkish media reports.

I would personally like to see him get another chance. I don't think he did that bad for us when he did play. I know he didn't do so well on loan, but sometimes being surrounded by better players can bring the best out of someone. Wijnaldum didn't exactly shine at Newcastle did he.

I liked him when he first started. Showed glimpses of his potential, but Markovic looks like he isn't enjoying his footy with us. Id let him go so he can try to get his career back on track with someone else.

I agree with Phil. Besides getting the impression that he's not enjoying his time with us, I also get the feeling that he is not driven enough to fight for a place in our team. I watched him closely during our preseason games and he just didn't put in a shift - the one which would show his intention of pushing for a place in the team. Also, from what little I have seen of him, he seems to lack the work ethic that Klopp expects from his first team players, especially the 11 that are on the field. The lad deserves a chance to play elsewhere and in my opinion it would suit everyone if he moves on permanently.

Wijnaldum reminds me of when jonny barnes played in midfield they have similar technique strong on the ball skilful eye for a pass, he just needs a goal away from home, all in all he's been great for us he had more assists than coutihno last season.

Markovic had potential but was mishandled IMO and it's set back his career. Admittedly he perhaps also could have picked himself up and tried again, but it's clear now he isn't inspired to play his best for us and needs a move. Hope he gets it and goes on to a good career.

Wijnaldum is one of my favorite players in our side. Keita's signing could push him down the pecking order a bit but he's been well worth his salary and what it cost to sign him. He definitely was Newcastle's best player and any Geordie fan giving him a hard time was just aggrieved that they went down for a season unexpectedly.
