Ed does that mean our CB target is now De Vrij or someone else since we badly need changes there?

Gomez is looking pretty good there at the minute, I️ would be looking for a partner for him in January rather than one for Matip.

Liverpool are looking to De Vrij and Schuurs.

De Vrij could happen in January as per the Eds.

Schuurs is probably more likely in the summer and would be with the u23's for a season or 2 anyway, in my opinion.

I think Lovren may move on in the summer. I can't imagine he wants to stay here after what has happened in the last year and he has to do what is best for him and his family. They probably don't even feel safe in their own home anymore.

Gomez, De Vrij, Matip and Klavan seems like a decent set of centre backs in my opinion so hopefully the club don't bugger these ones up! What i will say is Klopp really should look to play a deeper line because De Vrij, Matip and Klavan are all more suited to that. We look better on the break any way than when we just pass it from left to right against a banked up defence.

My only point on this is that De Vrij looks to be a Right sided centre back, as is Matip and Gomez. Surely we need to be looking at a left sided one to replace Lovren ir Klavan?

{Ed002's Note - Centre backs tend to be reasonably portable between positions and I am not aware of any efforts by Liverpool to replace either Lovren or Klaven at this time.}

Is replacing Lovren problematic die to his poor performances coupled with his long and expensive contract.

{Ed002's Note - No - Li9verpool are simply not looking to replace him as far as I know. There is no strange story behind it.}
