Hi Ed's any update on Trent being fully fit for tomorrow?

{Ed001's Note - he only has a dead leg, there is absolutely no excuse for him to miss out, but we know how soft modern footballers are!}

Is a dead leg literally just that bruise and the little numbness that goes away in an hour from a sharp hit? Like we used to volunteer for as school-yard punishment (was better than getting your face smashed up when you were in the wrong anyway)?

{Ed001's Note - pretty much yes, though it is a deeper bruise and more serious, it is in essence that.}

A dead leg is not a simple bruise and numbness. It can be but if a sports person is out with one I'd suspect it tho have been a more serious hit that the knee or punch in the leg we used to get and give.

You can be out with a dead leg, if it's bad enough your and the muscle is bruised badly you it simple won't work as it should. Won't react as quickly and can lose power.
Mind you it didn't look like Trent had anything like that. Just a knock and should be fine.

Dead leg will depend on the player. of the player doesn't feel 100% it's always better not to play them.
