So with the fekir deal seemingly slowing down a little bit for what ever reason, would lfc now have other members of staff trying to negotiate for other players? A keeper for example. Or would they just concentrate on trying to get fekir signed?

I only ask as for me conceding less goals should be the aim as opposed to adding more firepower be it a new cb or keeper.

So wasting so much time just so Lyon can play hard ball seems futile. They either want the money or the player, they can’t have both. So surely if we carry on with our other transfers it will happen eventually anyway right?

{Ed025's Note - there will be a list of alternatives ashy..

The club is a publicly listed company, and strict stock market rules suggest they are not allowed to announce transfers until the window officially opens this weekend.

Publicly listed companies announce their reports/ earnings guidance and any major items outside of trading hours all the time so you can be assured this is nonsense.

Sorry Ed’s I wasn’t meaning alternatives for fekir, I was wondering if we are actively trying to strengthen other positions or are off just throwing everything at getting fekir signed?
Do we have other members of staff working on other transfers or will that all come after fekir?

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that I am afraid.}

Gibbs, it is not nonsense. What Corkycat is saying is correct based on the guidelines of the French Stock Exchange as well as the date the TW opens in France which is today, I gather.
