This is becoming a circus. Some media reporting it is back on. Also seems Lyon have removed the statement from their website. Know anything of this Ed's?

{Ed001's Note - they have not removed it. People are putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 55. The BBC have a link going to a dead page because they changed the URL when they updated their page with the statement on. If you go to the Lyon website's home page you can still find the page HERE

It could be back on anytime if liverpool and lyon agree on a price.

It’s done finished. Let’s move on to the next saga, Goalkeeper.

It's only a circus because Liverpool supporters are falling over themselves to make it so. It would be much better if people stopped believing every stupid thing posted on twitter and head outside instead to breathe in some fresh air.

Just remember that even if this deal doesn't go through, there is always some young Brazilian (or Egyptian) player considered as a 2nd choice who will end up being our next world beater.

In your humble opinion Ed01.do you think Liverpool will give the agreed amount Lyon want for the deal or go else where?

With it being early, I am of tge opinion tge best thing for LFC to do is not make any rash/ hasty decision, look at there options over the next few weeks and go from there.

On another note. do not want another el hadji diouf after a WC.

Thanks in advance Ed01.

{Ed001's Note - I expect the deal to get done.}

I give Klopp more credit than to sign an El Hadji Diouf or a Balotelli.

Im suprised you havnt had any replies to you thinking it will still get done ed001 lol im hoping it will but just got to wait and see.

{Ed001's Note - lots of time left yet and Klopp is very singleminded when after players he really wants.}

I agree klopp won't do a panic buy. i like fekir as he got that driving force. we missed that when the ox got injured.

Will have to agree about Klopp on that. Not only single minded but very determined and focused and it takes a lot for him deviate from the course, almost to a fault. He knows what he wants and he knows what he doesn't want. And he has testicular fortitude. It takes a lot of self confidence to take the responsibility of buying the most expensive defender in the World. If Klopp wants Fekir, he will get him. I just hope he doesn't have to wait for January and play without a #10 until then.

Thanks Ed01! Appreciate the feed back as always!

On another note my sister and her family move out to Dubai in August. Hope it does them well!

{Ed001's Note - August? Ouch that is not a good time to move here! Wayyyy too hot for your first few months. Better to move while it is cooler so your body has some time to adjust.}

I may be way off base, but this feels sort of similar to the Keita deal in my opinion. Lots of media rumors, denials of a move, before announcement near the end of the summer.

I have no idea if it will get done or not. I hope it does if this is the guy Klopp wants. Patience is a virtue and we'll see what happens after the WC.

It also seems interesting that the statement from Lyon said he's staying rather than no deal will be done with Liverpool. I trust what the eds have said and loom forward to the new season regardless.
