Is Julian Brandt still of interest to us. I remember the eds saying he was not interested in a move to us last year as he was worried about game time.

Unlikely he’d have changed his reasoning and more unlikely we’d could offer anything after the season our three had.

This Fekir saga seems to follow the footstep of Naby Keita deal last summer, where the deal keeps going on or off. Ulitmately, whether Liverpool will sign Fekir will determine based on how much Liverpool want Fekir. Naby Keita and Van Dijk deals has shown how Liverpool transfer is being done.

A few conflicting rumours as to why the Fekir deal has not happened all seem plausible but can't help but feel embarrassed and sorry for the lad if the deal did go as far as him posing in the kit for LFC TV etc and then someone pulling the plug. Hope it is not dead in the water because he would be awesome along side the other forwards.

I know that Ed has suggested that we look at Brandt as an alternative, the only thing is that he’s already turned us down once and he’s apparently holding out for Bayern.

If I am not wrong, the transfer window for EPL closes before the start of EPL. Subtracting the days World cup, this leaves us only around one month to sign players that is playing in the tournament unless all fees and paperworks has been agreed beforehand. Does ED thinks that this one month is sufficient for Liverpool to negotiate the required deals for the new upcoming season?

{Ed001's Note - plenty of time.}

On media, it seems that Liverpool has ended their interest in signing Fekir after the statement from Lyon president. On the other hand, ED002 stated that negotiations are still ongoing. I would like to learn from the EDs, what are the chances as of now of signing Fekir? Scale of 1-10 (10 being most likely)

{Ed001's Note - C-

What will be the score by relating C- to the scale of 1-10. 5 or 6 ??.

University grading makes that 50/ 60%.

I think it means don't ask silly questions.

Do people realise that possibility is not the same is probability.

Probability is a statistical figure which you can quantify. So if you said we have 50% chances of signing Fekir, what you are actually saying is that for every 100 Fekirs you will sign 50 successfully. That's a lot of midfielders. But that's also nonsense!

Then you have possibility, which is stated as a chance in somebody's opinion. So you can say things like it's likely, or unlikely, or difficult to say, or impossible, or certain, or don't know, etc.

Hope that clears things up.

you got a few thumbs down LS, but I think the same, the Fekir transfer has gone,
it was so near that he had chosen his shirt number,
but let's learn, and move on,
there were a couple of errors made,
but who do we go for now, there doesn't seem anyone out there as good as the Fekir lad,
maybe juggle the squad a bit, but bring in someone of a high quality .
