Personally I think he’s finished at the top level.

Ask firminosteeth he seems to have the inside info that may answer this question😂😂😂😂😂.

He was close to signing a couple of years ago. looked to have the world at his feet when joining Bayern but injuries and poor form since have seen his career massively plummet. I wouldn’t want him personally, even for the relatively low fee being rumoured.

I don’t think your the only person to think that frankly lol.

Hasn't he been trying and showing signs of recovery.

I'd take him for a decent fee, don't think he'd cost much more than Shaquiri. He may not be the player he was but let's rememember if he was we'd be talking bout a fee in the region of £150M. He's still a good player who's used to the pressure of big clubs and country and maybe Jurgen can help him get back to who he was.

If Fekir and Remy did not pass physicals or there were concerns about their health, there is no way he would pass one either. About 2 years ago he nearly had to give up playing because of a health condition.

His problem seems to be that in his head he is still a top player. I can’t see him being happy with a comfy seat on the bench. He could do with shifting a couple of stone too.

Couldn't we all.

He's had health problems but the fee wouldn't be big, and if there's one coach that could get Gotze playing anything like his old self its Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp isn’t a miracle worker. The injuries and illness that Gotze has suffered have almost obliterated his ability to play at the top level.

Yet there seems to be a few decent teams interested in him. He's declined but he's been up against some very good players for gametime at Dortmund like Dembele, Pulisic, Reus, Kagawa, Castro and Dahoud. If he leaves Dortmund he will definitely still be playing at the top level, either for a top team in Germany or one of our rivals in the Premiership.

Has a Lucas Moura stinge to it.

I would take Gotze for sure so not the same FT as above.

He is a World Cup winner and had his best days under Klopp I’d reckon he could take him back up to the top.

Form is temporary class is permanent.

Exactly. Had superb form for a few seasons. Then lost it. Don't see permanent class anywhere there. Mario Kempes obliterated everyone at the World Cup in 1978. And then disappeared.

How can someone have superb form for a few seasons and not have permanent class? The one thing he can't be accused of is not having class, the body may be letting him down but ability wise he's a top player.

Doesn't he have myopathy? Would very much explain his struggles over the past couple of years but no reason now it's been identified and managed he can't be brought back to his best if Klopp believes he has the attitude to try.

When Markus babbel contracted Guillan Barre syndrome (another muscle weakness disease) he had a year out and still managed to recover and play till he was 35. He was never quite the same though.
