Any update on the goalkeeper front?
Seems to have gone quiet re. Liverpool save for Mignolet (hopefully) leaving.

If you could pick a realistic target for the club to sign Ed001 who would it be? Personally if we are going to spend big I think it would have to be oblak. I have s feeling we will end up with Butland or keyler Navas.

he punches at literally everything. If there is a slow roller coming at him, he'd find a way to punch at it instead of picking it up. I really want to like him, but he just isn't that good. Having said that, it seems to me that there is a HUGE decline in the quality of goalkeeping these days. It is really becoming a lost art in my opinion. It's really sad.

It's not becoming a lost art stone its just changed, a keeper these days has to be as good with his feet as the rest of the outfield players, he has become that extra man at the back to play it out, distribution is so important as well in todays game, gone are the days of old school shot shoppers that just hoofed the ball into the opposition's half. It's a demanding position that needs concentration and leadership qualities that defenders can be confident in.

Ed001 who do hope we sign to solve the goalkeeper problem? Do you reckon Karius could be given another chance?

Agree with ed1. Take out CL final and was karious that bad last season.
Btw on the always punchung comment. It not a problem always punching, it where you punch it too. If in doubt on taking the ball a keeper should take the safer option and punch. Just not like pickford who punches back into the area .
