Ed001 do you have any info on the injury a few weeks seems a bit vague.

{Ed001's Note - they are being deliberately vague so I don't know sorry.}

I thought that too Ed001.

Last time the club was vague, Ox was out for the season.

{Ed001's Note - everyone knew that Ox would be out for at least 6 months though and it was a totally different kind of injury. That was a potential career ending injury. This is talking about weeks not months, so hopefully not too bad.}

True mate, fingers crossed.

Ed001 If I recall that was down to the Ox not wanting to put people down before the champions league final think it was even kept from the players too.

{Ed001's Note - good memory there grino! You are right, that was the reason. Klopp has been honest that they can't give an exact date on his return as they have no data to work with. No one knows if Alisson is a quick or slow healer as he has had so few injuries in his career.}

Calf injuries are very unpredictable. generally speaking they are around 4-6 weeks. but they can also be a nightmare to get over and have seen up to 12 months out with a reccuring calf.

I jumped off the back of truck years ago and done my calf, didn't shake it off properly for about a year myself, just took forever to heal fully.

Good point ed01 about the recovery time being a guessing game, seen klopp mention it's his first ever injury of this type, some players recover so different to others. Gomez strikes me as a player who always needs to take more time, lovren too. Harry Kane seems to come back well earlier than predicted, I remember Rooney too was never out as long as reported.

I hope alisson can be one of the latter as he's crucial to this team.

{Ed001's Note - Kane rushes back too soon and has ended up causing himself long term problems.}
