Liverpool to sign nike deal? Gross. Nike can't make a good looking kit to save their life. Would prefer less money and better kits!

Don't buy the Nike shirt then. It really is that simple. Whining for the sake of whining.

LFCohio the kit will be red . I'm not a fan of nike kits but if it's a reportedly record deal well that's fine in my book our main competitor have an endless money pit . Personally the only time I'd wear a replica kit is on the 5 a side pitch.

Posted this on the forum back in January and got bashed because it was Nike, just google 2006-08 Holland Home Shirt which is a Nike top, its an absolute fantastic item, I would love a LFC shirt in that style.

I'd like Nike sponsorship, generally it's great quality gear, I'm not sure why so many here despise the brand? They will provide the club with a great financial upgrade in income which is the main thing.

I don’t particularly like Nike, but it’s completely irrelevant, the important thing is that (at least according to Forbes), this is a very very lucrative deal for us and the biggest in the Premier League, by some margin apparently. Let’s give credit to the owners for negotiating these commercial deals, they’re putting right the wrongs of the last 30 years of maladministration under Moores then H and G.

Har_red92, Nike aren’t what you could call the most ethical company in the world, for example the allegations of sweat shop labour, the way it treated its employees in America, and that’s only part of the bad press. However, compared to the activities of the owners of Man City (ie a theocratic fascist state) they’re almost saints. And if it gives us a better commercial presence and expands the club globally, we have to accept it for what it is.

Yeah well 6times I'm not really one to get hung up on the ethical side of their business as it's not something I know much about, I'm simply hopeful that we can get the best deal we can without over thinking too deeply.

Prefer nike to new balance and warrior! We have had some dreadful kits over the years with Reebok and Adidas, absolutely shocking. Nice all red plainish Nike kit will be good.
Nice to have the largest sporting brand in the world affiliated and paying handsomely, nice to see the club doing so well financially in terms of revenue! We do lack still to United but making strides to become the Nº1 both on and off the pitch.
