Bobby Duncan to Fiorentina for £2m plus sell-on clause, apparently.

Bye 👋🏼
The lad seemed to either believe his own hype or was using the name of Gerrard to try and get himself ahead of others.
Good luck to him, he needs to grow up, learn to be a professional, learn that being related to someone is no substitute to hard work, dedication and talent and get himself a better agent.
Hopefully he forges a successful career for himself based on merit.

Until next summer when he decides he is to good of a player to be there and forces a move, I'm surprised they want such a nuisance.

Give the kid a break, I wish him well. Still hope he sacks the agent though.

Does his cousin not want to sign him either then? Rangers could surely pay 2m? Or are they still pleading poverty?

I look at how the red devils have thrown Rashford in at a young age and now Mason Greenwood and let's see how those 2 turn out, Rashford is hardly living up to his potential and whilst Greenwood is highly regarded, they could end up destroying him. How can an 18 year old Duncan seriously expect to get ahead of Mane, Firmino, Salah, Origi, Shaqiri and Brewster well he could potentially give Brewster a run for his money as he has yet to get an opportunity.

The best he could hope for is a place on the bench for the Carabao Cup / FA Cup and maybe a bench appearance during the very busy months of December and January. If its true that Duncan is being an arse I hope he regrets what could have been (plenty of medals in this team), this young generation of players at the club could be the next big thing in 4 years time, I am looking at VD Berg, Hoever, Elliot, Jones, Woodburn, Arroyo, Glatzel, Larouci, and Brewster and you can add in Gomez and TAA as they will be in their prime.

I hope Stevie G has a word in his ear, a loan to Scottish football would set him straight . I would not want to be playing in Aberdeen on a mid week night in January!

Honestly just on the Rashford comment thing, I think united have made their own problems. I think LVG actually had just gotten united to a point they might make progress, it took a long time but United won the FA cup and rashford came in and was playing really well. They looked like they finally were able to put in some good performances, then they got rid of him and got jose and went downhill again.

Rashford in turn seemed to just not progress that much and now the end of last season and the first few games of this season hasn't done much.

reckon they should have just carried on another season with LVG see if he could build on the FA cup. But they wanted Jose and here we are, reckon this season will be a bigger 2 horse race than last season. Though would be nice is Leicester grabbed a top 4 place ;)

I remember Martial looked a spectacular prospect when he came under LVG.

The fact that salah bobby mane etc are ahead of him is kind of the reason he probably wanted out, he wasn't saying he deserved his place in front of them but he still wants to play first team so fair enough that he wanted out.
Just a shame that he didn't act great with the public drama that forced the move. But we move on, no big loss and the player moves on with a big challenge for him to prove he's worth his words.
