Can you see any first team arrivals this window Edds?

{Ed002's Note - In terms of first team starters no. In terms of squad members there is spece without departures to add a couple should the club decide if it is appropriate - and by appropriate I mean someone who would add something to the squad and would perhaps not be available in the summer. Obviously one of those places has gone to Takumi Minamino as a squad member. It looks like Loris Karius will be back soon so that needs addressing, becuase adding him to the squad makes zero sense. When Matip and Lovren are 100% again I would expect Nathaniel Phillips (CB) should be headed back to Stuttgart on loan. All of that does leave a gap in the squad that the club could look to fill - but equally you don't want to rock the boat when things are going very well.

So possibly another squad addition.}

My biggest worry is Milner - he covers the midfield and also adds an experienced option to cover the fullbacks in case of injury. He’s the one that would conceivably need replacing if he chose to leave for his beloved Leeds.

Hopefully he can spend another season with us, by which time Neco, Larouci and Jones should have had more playing time under the belt to prove they can make it at the highest level.

yeah. if we could bring in anything I'd quite like left back cover but I also like larouci. Very raw but potential.

I leave it to Klopp and team to decide.

Elsewhere I see no need for anything.

Provided Robbo doesn't pick up a long term injury I see no reason why Larouci couldn't provide more than adequate cover for left back in the odd game playing in a defense that includes VVD, Gomez and TAA.

Thanks for the reply Ed’s.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

Milner has signed 2 year extension so I'd be surprised if he wanted to leave the best side in the world just 6 months later when he's still playing regularly for us. I do agree though that when Milner does leave we will need to have the quality option to back up robbo and his midfield role also replaced. Hopefully one of the younger lads will progress well enough in the meantime.

If Milner is to stay for 1-2 more years, C. Jones and Laroucci could have a lot more games in them by then and be ready to fill Milner's role. Not the experience of course but everyone else around them will be more experienced too.

We have a bright future indeed.
