So Fabrizio Romano has stated (along with many German sources) that Liverpool have made contact with Bayern over Thiago. However this has been denied by Sky "sources". Is there any truth to this (regarding what Fabrizio has said) and what would Bayern accept in terms of a fee?

{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich want €35M and will accept a little less. That is what they would have been telling the sides they are talking to.}

Is Liverpool one of those "sides they are talking to"? I appreciate if you are unaware, one can't know everything.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Do you think if they can sell Thiago they might move for Havertz?

{Ed002's Note - No, they have already addressed the replacement of Thiago.}

Ed1 said it seems likely he will sign now? Ed1, is this from information recieved? Thanks in advance.

{Ed001's Note - no, just from the way it is heading. It is going down the same path as other players, such as van Dijk.}

Do you mean as in we tapped him up and now he only wants to play for us? Similar to the VVD scenario Ed001?

{Ed002's Note - This whole thing has been done to death. I really don't get why the Liverpool supporters want to keep hearing about it.}

I really can’t see this happening, it’s not a FSG type signing. £30 million + for a 29 year old with no resale value at the end of his contract whilst we already have options in that position, as good as he maybe I just can’t see the owners sanctioning it.
