Not wanting to rub more salt into the wounds of man utd after the recent 7-0, but on todays date 14 March in the year 2009 we beat man utd away by the date 1-4 the goal scorers (torres, gerrard, aurelio, dossena) . We should have won the prem that year also, as we were the best team in the league.

Having slept in different beds last night, i have forgiven him as he's not a bad egg after all.

{Ed002's Note - Manu Kouadio Kone (CM/DM) Prior interest of Milan has gone. Newcastle did approach Borussia Muenchegladbach but they will resist a sale and try and agree a new deal, but Newcastle remain keen. RBL are keen to add Kone to replace Laimer. Bayern Munich are light on DM and CM and are looking to add Kone and Laimer in the summer. Borussia Dortmund see him as a Bellingham replacement if he leaves in the summer. Not first choice for Chelsea but Vivell will push for him - which could spell the end for Ngolo Kante or Loftus Cheek. Watched by a number of other Premier League sides including West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Brighton. A wildcard maybe PSG. Player wants Chelsea move.}

I'd choose Kone over pretty much every midfielder we have been linked with, bar Caicedo. Seems like the club doesn't necessarily see a need for this profile of player and continues to target more technical players.

Kone will be a great foil for Enzo - and at a pretty good price too.

The sooner we get that sporting director in, the better as we're shopping like Juventus and Barcelona these days.
