Warning dislusional lfc fan message coming up.
I recently seen a few "fresh" links to lfc and mbappe over past couple days. ED002 if I may ask? Is it at all possible/ feasible we make a move for him in the summer. A recent report is saying (not that I belive it) that Madrid will probably pull out if a deal to sign him and if that the case lfc stand a good chance to making a move for him. Let's take the astronomical finances involved to do a deal out of equation for a second, do you think he would even consider lfc if finances could be sorted? Appreciate your time to read my question.

Realistically, Madrid, Middle East, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, if they could clear significant wages from the books, are the only viable options although Juventus have a significant tax advantage over the other clubs, but the costs are still huge and they can be discounted. Chelsea could look to striking a deal including a player PSG are interested in but likely not going to be paying the desired wages and bonuses – but they could look for a solution. Bayern Munich have added Harry Kane and have other priorities for the summer. Manchester United could potentially move for Mbappe if the ownership issue is completed soon but for now they are concentrating on others and it is unlikely the majority owners would agree to such a financial commitment; and advice being provided to the player would be to ignore any interest from there. Manchester City have a priority to tie down Haaland and remove a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave in the summer at a fixed fee – and they know there is interest in the player – if he were to decide to leave, then Mbappe will become a consideration. I do not see Liverpool committing to such a huge cost of wages and bonuses to be able to sign Mbappe. PSG hope that the situation forces Mbappe to invoke a one year extension.}

From a ex player still involved with the club so won’t name, when asked about Salah leaving if we got mega money Someone suggested mbappe as a replacement? His reply was a no he said mbappe by all accounts is a bit of a diva. Said he runs the dressing room and the team and is only interested in himself. Selfish. Sounds to me that we won’t be wanting him .

Based on the feedback given, it does seem like Mbappe may not have many options if he refuses to budge on his wage demands and bonuses. I know Mbappe is a very good footballer but for teams to go all out to sign him at a very high cost, it could be financial suicide if his move does not work out well. To me, that is too big a risk for a club like Liverpool. As much as we'd love to see him wearing our jersey and playing for our club, it just doesn't seem feasible under our current owners. If he ain't coming, I hope we can kill off this rumour and focus on more realistic players.
