Heard a few things this morning that Liverpool have informed Thiago that this will be his last season at the club, January exit not possible but he will be encouraged to leave in the summer, also Liverpool have been speaking with Joshua Kimmich, more likelyhis representativs, about a possible deal in the summer but are reluctant to pay the current rate of wages he receives, and a deal could be made if he is willing to take a pay cut.

As I understand it his contract is up in the summer, so there won't be much encouragement needed.

I'm gutted with Thiago. A monster of a player but never really hit the ground here. I know injuries have played their part and he was in his twilight years really but I still expected more.

He's a sensational player. Always in the team and generally one of our best players when fit. Can't think of a technically better player in world football.

{Ed025's Note - decent when fit Leroy but i can think of loads who are technically better mate, but he is full of cobwebs now and stealing a living these days laying on treatment tables and raking in the big money for doing sod all..

got to agree with Ed025 on this he has been stealing a living. he is made of tissue paper much the same as Keita he seems to be a nice bloke but you can't have passengers on massive wages.

{Ed025's Note - in the end its a business worzal, Keita got slaughtered on here for doing exactly what Thiago is doing mate but a lot want to give him a free ride, yes players get injured but we would like to think they are doing their very best to get fit and contribute...but i think we all know that sometimes thats not the case..
