This post is for anyone who still has belief in Brendan Rodgers.

Glen Johnson is to sign a new 3 year contract.

What the f*%k is that all about!!!

This has got to be the final Nial in his coffin and I'm surprised the owners are going to allow it.

Johnson has been under performing for years now, and he still gets a new contract, that's going to make him buck up isn't it.

Why does everyone hate Johmson so much? I mean - from what I've read, people actually hate him. Seems harsh to me.

Because he is lazy, acts like a big time charlie, plays for himself rather than the team and, if you watch him in games, will do some of the most infuriating things possible like:

- take a man, then cut back to be confronted by the same man, then cut back, then cut back the other way again, then lose the ball
- cut inside and take a shot that is nowhere near the target
- slow down play near the opponents box before playing a cross that is either a) blocked or b) a pass to the goalie
- get caught in possession
- get caught up field but be to lazy to bother tracking back properly
- rarely if ever make an actual tackle
- try and take a man only to get easily bullied
- lose possession near his own goal by doing something either fancy or stupid
- getting paid mega money
- having a clause in his contract stating he must play when fit despite he fact that, when fit, he is a complete liability

Hope this explains some fans feeling on the player - he is the Balotelli of right backs.

But I HATE peoe that are a menace to society, not footballers Seano. If Johnson could press a button that gave him 2 assists and a goal every week then I'm sure he would press it.

I've witnessed shocking vitriol against the lad on this site, from so-called Liverpool fans, against Johnson and the same against Rodgers for that matter.

If love to live in a world of the non fickle fan, where we can all have a banter - yes -but bitterness and spite didn't overshadow our every word. Alas, agenda's and ego's come to the fore.

He has been awful for the last 3 years, cost countless goals with his mistakes and contributed very little, does that deserve a new contract? No.

Change, nobody hates GJ. We just hate his lack of effort, hunger, determination, commitment and his inability to even care if he has a good game or not or if we win or not. The boy has been aweful for years YET gets picked and now, might get rewarded for rank mediocrity. Many of us (esp me who`s dream was to be a professional fooie player" would take two in the face just to do what he does and get the money he gets. That is what we cannot stand.

He showed all of those things when he scored in the 1- nil victory against Stoke.
I want him to be sold but I agree that some people go over the top from time to time.
Me included.
Passion sometimes comes out the wrong way.

Taking one in the face for the cause is part of his job and for the money he is paid, it is the least he could have done for the other aweful perfs he`s been putting in over the the best part of 3 years.
