Ed002

I was just wondering why do you reply to posts on the Liverpool page, when you seem to despise all liverpool fans?

This is not what people call trolling, I was just wondering?

{Ed002's Note - No I don't - all I have been is honest. Liverpool used to have great and knowledgeable fans. The new generation are hate-filled vegetables who complain about everything from the owners down. Why not visit after a game the club failed to win?}

Its become kinda sad really. I returned from the US recently (yes my user name is now inappropriate) but over the last three or four years I have visited the site regularly and there is, in my mind at least, a deterioration in the quality of banter (both ways)
Having said that, I suppose that it is kind of understandable that the team et al should come under greater scrutiny having come so close last season (and spent so much dosh post Suarez) but we do seem to be (once more) in transition although I do feel that there are some reasonable signs for the future, with our young squad, however this is not the main reason for my post.
I have become less inclined to visit this page as the abuse levelled at the team and its manager have been perhaps harsh, perhaps not, but I feel uneasy that the Editors have been overstated (on occasion) and been unnecessarily reactive and not so far from abusive to posters. So my question to the Editors is this. If a poster makes a comment that you find to be 'out of order' then why post it? Surely that would be simpler than biting back with sarcasm or snarky put downs? If you don't post their idiot outpourings then surely they would just give up? This site was a great asset to me whilst living in the US but I wish the quality of comment from both posters and overseers was better since I have returned to the UK. This is meant as constructive criticism btw but you guys have the power to cut the crap should you so desire. Sorry, just my humble opinion

{Ed001's Note - we do cut out most of it, sometimes someone needs to be told, and it is not constructive criticism as you have no idea what is cut out, so it is an ignorant view trying to tell us about something you don't have any knowledge of.}

Hi everyone its not my argument I know but don't take Ed002 comments to much to heart like all the the Eds he does this for free and is entitled to his opinion as much as everyone else is.

Its got to be tough for the Eds listening to us all moan moan moan when things ain't going as we want them too, before Le Coq got promoted I was moaning all season about our not having a DM and know I did other posters heads in as much as all the Eds who are after all only human so will from time to time react, we don't have to always like their reaction but where would we be without the Eds voluntary efforts ?

your right Ed002, ynwa = what a load of childish twaddel, very close to the worst fans in the EPL, please get over yourselves, granted you have been there done that, but that is now history, back your players/manager or support another club, which shouldn't be to difficult, after all, most of the worldwide liverpool supporters where not from liverpool, but are grey haired glory hunters from the 70ies/80ies when the club was successfull, wise up and get real folks

Most followers today, including me, follow our clubs through digital media
My honest opinion is the press and media have ruined it, putting thoughts into people's heads
It is them talking through the people
For instance, the Sterling issue. Half of us don't even know what is going on, but that didn't stop us being market experts
I wouldn't blame the supporters entirely here, but the media putting these thoughts
