Quick post on Gerrard And I would like to see a lot of posts similar on the page today.

Gerrard for me is liverpools best ever player. The goals he scored in the vital moments and the quailty of goals have been extraordinary. We hear players such as pogba priced at 60 million. If Gerrard was 21 again no club would afford him. Fans always compare with Keane Scholes etc. For me there has never been a comparison. He had the quailties of the great midfielders in the PL dwarfed into one special special player. He had it all and most importantly was a local boy who stayed at Liverpool his entire career.
We will probably never see another player be as spectacular a player from their own city play for their own club and have the career he has had.
Look at the midfielders worldwide now. There is not one that is any were near the level Gerrard was at in his younger years and there hasn't been for the last ten years. Winning cup finals and champions league finals carrying a new entire team on his back.
Gerrard I cannot credit him enough as a player. Extraordinary Once in a lifetime local player. MR.Liverpool. It is a shame we have never had a great team around him to win the league but that is life,it does not deter his quailty.
It is the end of an era when his final match happens however it has been a privilege watching him. Thanks Gerrrrrrrrrraaaaard ;)

I don't know where your getting stayed at Liverpool all his career from, his career is still going and he's moving to ANOTHER football team.

I suspect Gerrard will go on loan to a European club at some stage.
