Rather than spending money on Clyne, what about using Wisdom / Flanno (when fit) with McLaughlin as back up?

If this story is true, who is making this call?? £10M ++, why not put this towards a proven goal scorer and a decent keeper. I despair, we are going to lose some more good youngsters and replace them with more young players with "potential" Would it not be cheaper to poach the Southampton academy staff instead.

Ed/s I read one of you saying that recruitment etc (apologies but cannot remember the exact words) will continue even with the manager under threat but surely if there were to be changes the club wouldn't throw this amount of money around.

McLaughlin will leave this summer, Flanagan is out injured until February, and seemingly Rodgers has no interest in ever using Manquilio; a new RB is definitely on the way.
