Eds, could you give us a run down on who we are looking to sell and who will realistically move on this window? All in all I'm glad we have purchased early doors to try and get the team to gel but our squad is massive and needs to be trimmed.

If we start against stoke with skrtel then all hope is lost. He is the weak link at the back. With Ilori performing well, wisdom returning and Gomez wanting too prove himself in preseason there's no need for skrtel.

@RedKev, I'd like us to sell Skrtel but we definitely wouldn't need to buy a replacement. We have plenty of centre backs already and it's about time we started to use some of the players we have.

We are literally dripping wet with CB`s so why replace him whele we have 6 CB`s still here after his departure? You don`t have to replace every player you sell especially, the poor ones. That`s not how you build a squad or first team.

Not sure if he would be an upgrade on them. They have gotten significantly better since he left and he hasn`t since he got here so don`t know if that will happen. The Ed01 did say to take that rumour with a pich of salt
