With the new season looming I'm concerned that(once again) we won't hit the ground running with (already) doubts over the fitness of Firminho and Benteke.
We've had all summer to prepare for Stoke away and I can't help feeling we'll field a similar team to the one which gave us the lowest point for decades a few months ago. Rodgers, Mignolet, Skrtel, Allen.
God, I'm dreading next week.
As things stand, Lucas Leiva, Sakho and Jordan Ibe should start and everyone SHOULD be played in their best positions.
If we're 3pts behind the leaders after one game It'll be that much tougher to stay in the top ten.

Are you REALLY this negative before a ball has been kicked? This is the time for support and optimism - goodness knows there's plenty on here that get suicidal after one loss. Let the players AND THE MANAGER do what they can and support them throughout.

I support my club and the player. The manager is supported BUT only by default because if he succeeds the my club does well. That's it!
