A quick question on Markovic eds if you don't mind. I know most of the eds have consistently said that Marko's time at LFC had unfortunately come to an end and that in all likelihood would ask to be transfered. I am inclined to agree with this but I've just read an interview he did to the Turkish press a week or so ago where he said that the ball was more or less in lfc's court and a transfer would be up to the club. He showed no intent on leaving. He did say that he was enjoying his football in Turkey but that was it. Do you think he was being polite or careful with his words? Or is he really keeping his options open do you think? If he did opt to stay I think Klopp could still make a decent player out of him plus his pace and directness could flourish in Klopp's system.

{Ed002's Note - It is in their court - his club wants the loan to be made permanent but it is out of his hands.}

I agree pal, he's an actual winger which is an area we have to improve on. I think we should bring him back, he's pacy and I reckon he'd suit Klopps high intensity style. With him and Ibe on the flanks we could cause all sorts of problems. Klopp is known for making star player's.

I don't see how it can hurt to bring him back at the end of the season and have a look at him during training and maybe a couple of games, while keeping loan/ sale options open. His main attribute of speed can be vital to have, since our high press and fast counter attack style depends on it. A lot of money was paid for him, and it would be prudent to have a second look before moving him on.

Thanks eds. I would at least like Klopp to use a bit of preseason to take a look.
