Hi Eds,

Question for Ed001. What are you overall thoughts on Luis Garcias time at Liverpool? Also what made him leave?

{Ed001's Note - I loved him but he was incredibly inconsistent. He left because he was no longer wanted and it was time for him to go.}

Agree there with you. For me he's still a legend to this day and I'll always remember his volley v Juve. Him and Kuyt are players I've dearly missed since their departure.

{Ed023's Note - One second you're screaming at him for trying a needless flick then bang it's all forgotten as he has just got a screamer moments later - he still loves the club too - an ambassador role would be a good shout for Garcia.}

When Chelsea beat us under Brendan to stop us winning the league, did we make a mistake by bringing Luis over pre-match presentation almost taking the mick.
I feel this made Jose angry ref ghost goal in c-l semi final
which made him more bitter giving him more reason to stop us and prevent us winning the league that season.

His sportsman's dinner in the Sandon was hilarious. He's was just so down to earth. My favourite memory was in the Derby when all our players were dropping like flies and he was practically running on one leg yet he still menaced the Everton defence.

I was also a big fan of kuyt Taurus01 he had a brilliant attitude always gave 100% a real team player. Garcia scored so many memorable goals, ed023 I know what you mean he had the ability to make you swear and cheer within 60 seconds! both would prosper in todays team imo.
