Just for fun. Name a player/ players you really wanted to be a success at Liverpool but it just never quite happened for them. I'm going for Igor Biscan. Such a likeable character who had a few special moments but was never a fist team regular. Jari Littmanen. Such a quality player but Houllier and Tommo just didn't seem to fancy him. (Still can't understand why) Fernando Morrientes. Again such a likeable guy with a fantastic pedigree. Just didn't seem to be able to cope with the prem but what a player.

Mignolet I still like him and reckon he's a great guy. But.

It has to be Suso for me. I do not know if he is a likeable bloke or not, it is just that I liked the way he played and moved around. I do remember he linked up very well with Suarez in those few games they played together and at that moment I had a lot of hope for him.

In our current squad I really do hope Flanno can establish him as our first right (or left) back. And I would love to have Rossiter in the team, bossing midfield. Just hope he gets new contract, he recovers from the injury and proves all the doubters (including me? ) wrong. Although I have to admit, I am not 100% sure that he has a future with us.

Might get slated for it but Babel was one i'd hope would succeed. Seemed to have all the attributes you'd want in a striker or winger (pace, build, skill, power and a heck of a shot) but never seemed to apply that on the pitch.

Istvam Kozma.

I sort of second Morientes. Had scored in every debut prior to us.

I really wanted Joe Cole to do well. Had been superb and left to rot by Chelsea, had been left too long by the time he came to us unfortunately.

I might get slated for this but in all honesty Balotelli. It's both because right now it's the absolute opposite so we became a laughing stock for buying such a player, and also because I think he genuinely has potential as a player.
Obviously unlike many others on this list Balotelli did this to himself with his attitude and laziness but I wanted him to succeed at Liverpool in the beginning

Kopchu.

Has to be morientes, i prayed for him to come and when he did I was on top of the world. I saw him score his fist goal for us at the Valley.
Was really hoping for Pacheco to succeed didn't happen.

Christian Benteke

For the talent He possess and the money we spend, I expected him to score goals for fun WITH BETTER SERVICES AROUND HIM.

Robbie kean as he was desperate for it.

Jari litmanen without doubt. The guy would bleed for liverpool, but houllier never played him.

Crouchie.

Peter Crouch, really nice bloke, didn't hide when things weren't going his way or make excuses, just worked that bit harder next time. Was all the more sweet when the goals did start coming, that Hat trick against arsenal will live long in the memory.

Titi Camara, amazing first touch, scored a few goals for us including one the day after his dad died. Never really understood why he only lasted one season.

Nigel clough. He always seemed to destroy us with forest and i thought he would be real liverpool type player. Agree on litmanen also, what a brain.

Dani Pacheco and Suso. Both looked far better than any of the other under 21s and looked to have massive futures. Also before his injury Kristian Nemeth reminded me of a young Fowler.

I think soon teixeira will be added to the list above too. Impressed by the few appearance he played for us.

For me a few.
Bable (Ryan) .
Suso. Such high hopes for him, rated higher than sterling when they both broke into squad.
And finally Litmanen.

Litmanen, so talented but houllier was too defense minded to utilise them.

Dani Pacheco or Suso.
