Long time lurker, first time post. Do any of the editors think sturidge may be seen as a possible transfer out for klop, as i picked up on some body language between both of them that didn't look too good.

{Ed041's Note - no doubt klopp wants more from him, but I can't see him selling your best striker.

Origi is a better 'striker', Sturridge more of a game changer.

Origi is a better striker how? Just look at Sturridge's scoring rate! In future yes Origi might develop into a better striker but, here and now, Sturridge is miles ahead of him. I say this as a fan who doubted Origi but changed my opinion on him based on some excellent performances last season: he is good, but Sturridge is much better right now and by far the best striker we have at the club.

Sturridge is our best finisher and one of the best in the league.

Origi is nowhere near sturridge at this time. Sturridge's finishing in brilliant, origi's has been okay, right place at right time.

A striker involves leading the line and being the focal point of a sides attack. Origi's hold up play, aerial ability, strength, work rate and movement make him a better striker in my opinion. Sturridge works much better when he is played with another striker less likely to drift about. Do you agree Ed1?

I think sturridge is only fully effective when played up top with another striker, didn't happen enough last season for me. Thought we'd see a lot more of it after our 6-1 thrashing of Southampton.
