Welcome back ozone, I'm still with you regarding the owners mate but not klopp, he hasn't even had ONE full season, I seem to be in the minority regarding klopp which I'm finding staggering to be honest.

He's taking stick (from what I can see) because he didn't sign a left back and because we lost to Burnley, are things perfect? NO! but people need to realise whoever the manager is he has to work within a terrible transfer policy set by F$G, the spine of your team has to be top class only then can you surround the spine with the calibre of player we currently have right through the side at the moment and unless you pay the big wages you won't get top class unfortunately, it's all about money these days as we all know and the owners simply won't pay it so we have to cut our cloth accordingly.

Klopps points comparison to hodgson and Rodgers is spurious reasoning at best and is totally skewed logic!

He came in after a car crash of a manager inheriting possibly one of the worse squads in living memory, and took them to two cup finals which came at the cost of our league position all while resisting the temptation to buy in the January window and having to deal with the loss of couthinho sturridge and henderson at various points in the season and with our central defender's confidence through the floor and two promising youngsters (gomez and ings) out through long term injuries and with two abysmal keepers to work with.

So he has tried to address the glaringly obvious deficiencies in our team/ squad and is doing it in this awful restrictive transfer system, bought a very promising young keeper who then gets injured, a promising centre half who gets injured, a decent experienced centre half, so partly addressing the defensive problems he inherited, if he couldn't identify a LB and RB he wanted at the prices he is forced to work with then what do you want him to do? Buy two full backs for £7mill or so each who can simply play in those positions but wouldn't improve the first 11.

I'm totally behind him and am willing to give him AT LEAST 2 seasons to see were we are before judging him, it's the pot noodle generation that really grind My gears, get off his back and get behind the team that's now here, and if your not happy and are looking to blame someone for your frustration then I suggest you look at how the club is being run and stop hiding behind lies and fiction created to keep you from asking the real and challenging questions, because we are were we are at this point in time for one reason and one reason only THE OWNERS!

So the one Chink of light we have to get us to where we want to be is klopp so I suggest you all get behind him and we all stick together on it as there's plenty of people out there just itching to slag us off and criticise without us doing the job for them.

{Ed001's Note - I think he deserves 3 seasons at least, before he can be judged.}

Cheers ed001, yes I'd go with that. Myself personally I can see distinct promise from him that I've not seen from any of our managers since rafa and I'm prepared to go all in with him for the long haul and I'm convinced he'll get it right. People criticising him is totally unjust and unfair in my opinion and what said people need to remember is, if klopp was avaliable right now every club in the country would be in for him if they required a manager so be careful what you wish for.

{Ed001's Note - I love Klopp. I think he is perfect for Liverpool.}

That is an excellent post Waro. In complete agreement.

Klopp is long term solution in my opinion, really excited to see the likes of Karius and Grujic. The left back is a sore subject for most (understandable) but again in agreement that buying any left back that didn't suit us would have been counterproductive.

Should we be happy we lost to Burnley? of course not, but it isn't all doom and gloom.

Spot on regarding Klopp. I will agree to disagree on the owners regarding their financial commitment, but where I do get frustrated with FSG is that they take ages to learn. It's taken 6 years for them to get a good manager in place, and they still have polarised businessmen in charge of the club. We need football men with a financial brain, not finance men with a slight interest in the game. Ayre leaving is hopefully the start of FSG recognising this.

Remember when klopp was appointed they ask what were his requirements and the only thing he said he wanted was patience. Let's give him a few years not months!

OK mk no problem mate, we will have to agree to disagree on that one because I think we're at polar opposites with regard to there financial commitment to the club. One of us is spectacularly wrong with our opinion only in the long term will we find out who.

Top post Waro, and reply Ed01, couldn't agree more! When discussing the club and in particular the current management setup, both family and the lads I go to games with all agree that 2/ 3 seasons is a minimum Klopp should have with a realistic outlook to letting him have 5 years, I havnt yet had the unfortunate experience of speaking to some one that dosnt think he is the best fit for our club. The only real negatives I see written or happen to hear on the radio are the FIFA, Internet fans. Without trying to be degrading or telling a person there not a real supporter, it seems to myself that it stems from those that don't have a real connection with the club. Anyone that has been to Anfield since Klopp became gaffer, especially the latter stages of the Europa league games, I'm sure can attest to how much better the atmosphere is not just in the ground but around the stadium and the city itself. It hasn't felt, looked or sounded like this in a damn long time and it started and has evolved since the day he became the boss.

For those that doubt what he has done, is currently doing or can achieve with our club need to re educate themselves about football. We could very well be on the verge of something truly special and I don't want to miss a minute of it, those that think they know better are going to miss out in a big way and I hope I never have to meet this type of fan. Seriously people open your eyes and see what is happening at the club, you really don't want to miss this.

I've found that I disagree with 99% of your posts Waro, but I have to admit that I agree fully with your stance on Klopp in this post. The man has had his clearout and brought in his players and the timer actually begins now. Last year was more about "salvaging" a sinking ship, and I'd have to say that Klopp did okay. Too many people on here are trigger happy with their conclusions- and most based entirely on incomplete information.

He won't need 3 years 😎.
