Just wanted to say something small about sturridge, I said a few months back he said really doesn't want to leave Liverpool and just wanted to add how important he is off the pitch he keeps everyone glued together everyone smiling he was so important to Gomez with his recovery he's now helping Ben and TAA a lot to feel a part of the first team (another young player should be joining the first team soon but won't mention who because ed001 said about pressure on the kid earlier) seen it mentioned people would be happy to sell him not so much on here just in general but he is absolutely key to this team on and off the pitch.

I wouldn't be happy to sell him far from it and now you've said he's helping the young ones good on him that does go along way but it seems like every season it's giving him more and more time with his injuries there's only so much you can do.

Cheers ST that's nice to hear, nice to see a player of his quality taking time out to make the kids feel welcome. That's quite humbling! I've got to admit though I was one of the people saying we should cash in now but my mind has been changed. He knows he could play regular in another team if fit but doesn't with us, yet he never seems to moan, whenever he comes off the bench he's hungry to help the team and lately he's shown glimpses of his former self. Although he's not the most important player for us anymore he's still a very important player (off the pitch too by the sound of things) and I think klopp realises that he could do with a player off his quality and predatory instincts, wether it's in the starting 11 or off the bench.

Thanks for the info, ST. Klopp knows his quality and has never suggested that he didn`t want him. It`s just media and fans trying to put 2 n 2 together and seem to always get 5. I`ve always said that Studge is the best goalscorer in England and if he accepts that he won`t start all the games, he is more than welcome to stay as Klopp knows he will need him a lot as no team in the PL has a talent like him coming of the bench or starting games. N BTW Ron, your Jordan Rhodes comment was hilarious.
