I am going to get hammered for this but Icardi for me.

Sorry Ed's just an opinion. I know you think is trouble but the fact is he can score! and maybe, just maybe he can change

Fellow reds? Thoughts.

He is trouble. He's an absolute arse. So was souness. So was suarez. So was mcmahon. So was tommy smith. Gerrard and carragher were no angels. So were a lot of our best players to be honest.

Other examples you can point to would be roy keane, john terry, diego costa, sergio ramos, gennaro gattuso, i could name hundreds and hundreds, not players who were well liked by anybody apart from their own fans, but had a mean streak about them, a winning mentality.

Now i'll name some players who look as though they couldn't hurt a fly, look as though they live on a diet of brown bread and water and generally look like rabbits caught in headlights on the pitch- mignolet, lovren, moreno, klavan, clyne, lallana, milner, firmino, coutinho etc etc. In all honesty nearly all of our players behave in the exact same way on and off the pitch, it feels like they're a team of robots sometimes. Im not even saying this to pick on them because i think most people have caught onto this and, in my opinion, is the biggest immediate problem with our team right now. Nobody even looks remotely angry when we lose for the millionth time in a season.

Icardi might well be a t*t but, in all honesty, im starting to think a few bad eggs would be better than the sickly sweet bunch we have at the moment.

Football is more corporate these days and image is more important. The owners won't want players who are going to cause trouble.

Absolutely ron but its sapping away at my love at the game and making me lose faith that we'll ever have a team we can be truly proud of, as well as having a fun atmospheric experience at the match.

I suggest you go read and educate yourself about Icardi 9the player tho talented) and the man (rotten attitude) then we'll discuss.

Absolutely on with you. I am regular follower of inter and Napoli and He is a captain material. A thug characater like Costa. He is a 20 plus goal scrorer. Give him a Klopp hug and He would be perfect. Mane wasn't a saint at Southampton nor was Wijnaldum.

Arrogance and anger on the pitch is a key ingrediant in about 90% of all the superstars the games ever produced.

Just off the pitch its a problem.

People always bring up the greats when comparing these newer maverick players and its just stupid.

The greats on the pitch are the fittest ones on the pitch, the fastest, never miss trainint, want to get better, train to get better and do get better.

Someone like balotelli because he's a tit gets compares to ibra because people think he's a tit. Big difference. Zlatan ill take my hat off to him. wow. Just great everything about him ozzes what your all hoping icardi could bring. Its just not that simple.

Mourinho does nothing apart from pick zlatan.

Granted we need some angry players in this team absolutely but not people who are playing football as there second choice behind there lifestyle.

Being nasty on the pitch is one thing. Being an utterly despicable human being is another. He's been fined and forced to remove a chapter from his autobiography because of what he said about his own club. Would you want that negativity for us? He stole a teammates wife, great for team harmony.
Why not get Terry signed up too, if being a class one prick seems to be part of the recruitment process now.
Icardi is more trouble than he's worth.
