Questions Eds,

So when a player gets injured or banned for lengthy period of time, what happens to their wages? Because they can't be a benefit to the club if there out for 3+ months? Do they get deducted or will there be something in the contract they sign.

Clubs can fine players up to two weeks wages for disciplinary issues which would include on field.

Bit harsh, you've been injured as part of your job and we're going to stop your wages.
