Concern - Lovren, shocking defending, most of their chances and penalty shout came from his mistake.

Agreed. The difference in quality between him and matip was huge and it shows. Uncoachablr it would seem.

Hm was Matip really much better?

Looked very very nervous to me and his passing which is usually his best asset was poor. Maybe just the occasion got to him.

We have for centteback for next year if we assume Sakho goes but really none have been overly impressive. We need some stability next season and a decision needs to made of Klavan or Gomez are good enough, if not replace one with someone who is.

{Ed025's Note - klavan is certainly not good enough puzzled, the jury is still out on gomez..
