Regarding Milner
He does deserve a lot of credit. he's played out of position and he did it for the team and klopp
A true professional
He never came out and said I'm off etc.
He said he'll play anywhere for the team
Not heard that a lot for a good few years. old school
I'd like to thank him not constantly pick him out.

Fair call - absolute professional and huge respect to him for sorting a position that was a big liability for us when he would have rather played elsewhere.

Well said. and I totally agree. Milner is a model proffessional and always gives 100%. He's been a great asset to Liverpool Football Club since joining us.

I hope he stays next season, good squad player that'll we need at times no doubt. Surprised he didn't win players player this season with his dazzling personality and interesting post match interviews 🤔.

Great lad and a selfless pro who really cares about something much bigger than himself as in, the team. Bravo for your efforts, sir.

He not only saved the team, but LFC "management" from a lot of embarrassment, too. What if Milner had decided he wouldn't play left-back? This happens fairly regularly when a player is told to do something he does not want to do. Can you imagine the uproar over not being able to find a competent left-back in this day and age, and being saddled with Moreno for an entire season? Would we still end up 4th? I don't mean to slate a gentleman who has moved on and left the organization, but seriously, this is Liverpool Football club! Ambitious teams have 2 players, sometimes 3, for each position and yet we ended up in a situation of having to rely on a right-footed midfielder playing in the left-back position for an entire season. I'm aware Alexander-Arnold is around but cameo appearances and brief flashes of brilliance does not an entire season make! There's obviously relief all around because Milner did an okay job. But I seriously hope the lesson has been learnt, and we don't continue such amateurish thinking and moves this summer.

What I like about Milner is his honesty. One interview he said straight up, I don't like playing left back, but that's where klopp has asks me to play. Has played the most games surely? Has to stay next season if you ask me.

{Ed025's Note - good utility player benny..

He's a good pro, an honest footballer and always can be relied upon to put a shift in. Never goes missing.
