Just heard a couple reports that Mohamed Salah is close to finalising a deal to us. Thought I'd pass it on. Not too sure on this one haven't seen much of him bar his Chelsea days. Has great pace but has anyone else watched much of Roma this year? Have a good night guys.

I don't know how credible these rumours are but Salah has been excellent since he left Chelsea and has been one of the best attacking players in Italy without a doubt.

Good signing if it happens. Solid back up for Mane and can play on the left wing as well, so serving two purposes in all. And for those who think that Salah would simply be a 'shiny new signing' simply because we already have Mane need to get a grip. Chelsea have Pedro and Willian as squad players, Man Utd have Martial and Rashford, City have Sterling and Nolito etc. Remember how we struggled without Mane in the team?
There is no room for error next season. Beefing up the squad with valuable experience and quality is a must and Salah would be a good start, both as a first teamer and a squad player.

he is technically great. My only concern with him is whether he is big enough to handle the premiership?
He is great in space if given though and would help unlock teams that defend deep and in numbers.

@Gareth "He is great in space if given though and would help unlock teams that defend deep and in numbers. "

Isn't this a massive contradiction? Just saying?

Salah has been very good in Italy, yes. So has suso, but there's no guarantee that he'd have been that good had he stayed.
Different league can make a different player.

no not a contradiction. When he is given space he is very creative, but like i said my worry is he won't get that space in premiership?
