Eds what's your opinion on Lallanas position and place next season. He was the most improved player for me last season. Really think he deserves both his place and support from Klopp as he really works hard and had impressive games.

Mane Salah are both going to be big money Klopp signings. Firmino a favourite and established, he played deeper then striker in Germany, I think Klopp looked at him for Dortmund when Kagawa left? If we do sign a striker as touted then I'll guess some games he'll play off. Coutiniho is either part of the forward line or as at the end of last season deeper.

Where does this leave Lallana, I don't seen many on here list him in their starting line with new signings. Seems a forgotten player already, which is a shame rather then a reward I feel he deserves.

{Ed025's Note - tough one for klopp max, very strong midfield that and imo adam will struggle to get in it mate..

It leaves Lallana on the bench for a better player which could be a clsss striker or Kieta.

It leaves Lallana as backup to Mane. And to come in after we've blown our opponents out of the water, and he's needed to press up front and solidify defensive abilities a bit and close out games.

League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, injuries and real competition needed in every position to ensure players are as up for a game against a lower half team as for a top 6 clash.

We need to stop thinking in terms of only a first 11. We need 18 first team quality players to compete.

It's been on my mind too - think dropping Coutinho deeper makes it tough for Lallana to get into the side. should have plenty of chances to rotate if we go deep in CL (or EL if we drop down) though. Good to see this sort of quality depth though. been a while since we've had this sort of problem!

Supermane, that midfield would get absolutely ripped to shreds, this isn't fifa. Keita wouldn't be able to accommodate both firmino and coutinho in the midfield and he is by no means a defensive minded midfielder, he is as box to box as they come, so there is little defensive contribution from that midfield you just listed.

Agree with Fitzy. We have two African wingers who will go to the AFCON every 2 years, we have 2 attacking Brazillians with long flights home after every international break and if we perform as expected on all fronts next season, we could easily have 55 matches. Where is Lallana? Probably making 20 starts and as a many sub appearances even assuming everyone stays relatively healthy i. e. no long term injuries.

AFCON is every 4 years just like all international tournaments.

AFCON is every 2 years.

Still not a valid reason at all not to sign a player who will be missing for, at most 1 month every 2 years.

There's no way I see Klopp leaving out Lallana! He's one of the first names on his team sheet!

Kman. Yaya toure protected

De bryune, silva, sane, sterling and aguero pretty well.

Coutinhos not someone whose incapable of beung a good cm. he's a little terrier. Firmino runs the ass off players so his pressing in thete would be phenominal.

Abd theb keita to sweep it all up.
Most games we have 70% possession anyway.

That team would be awesome. You could (not sure you no this) change the team for diffetent games like.

Firmino for wij or something.

Home games though what a team that would be.
