Im honestly very surprised about all the excitement for van dijk. Clyne and Lovren were also great performers at Southampton without being able to replicate it, surely you can see that it's the big difference in the way both our teams play. Lovren particularly was one of the best in the league in his debut season for them. I like van dijk I really do, but how can so few of you be skeptical about this. I truly pray it won't end in tears but I can't help but think it will. Would be very interested to hear all your thoughts.

{Ed025's Note - heres my thoughts beef...liverpool have just broke their transfer record and bought one of the best center halves in europe so how about celebrating instead of moaning mate..

So negative, personally I'm absolutely delighted as I'm sure the majority of fans are. Fans moan that we don't sign quality and then moan when we do, you can't win.
