I think we all need some perspective here. I think the reason we are all up in arms is that we had finally seen off Chelsea and City for a player then went and tripped on the last hurdle and fell flat on our face. In reality he is a good player but not worth anything like the money that was being banded about. There are other players out there that we can and will get instead of VVD. Just take a chill pill and wait to see what happens.

The point is that we've messed up our attempt at going for a top class target and will inevitably sign players who simply aren't good enough and we'll have another season of failure. All because we acted like complete cretins. Can you see any top players wanting to come? We look like complete clowns. A laughing stock. We'll end up with the likes of Keane or Gibson and Grey or Andros Townsend, it's that bad.

Failure? Given the money we have compared to citeh man utd and chelski. You consider a top 4 place and champions league a failure. Think you a sense of prospective my friend. You were probably one of the people on here ragging off the signing of mane last year.
