Sky reporting that City only interested if Southampton hugely decrease there asking price.

Think your right I don't think we have heard the end of this, player wants to go and we have the pressure of making it 'right' and where willing to pay a considerable amount apparently.

Ed is a figure Southampton want (reported to be 70m now) really anything we can afford? I thought at the initial 50m fee. this was a crazy ask. Now it's even more ridiculous. I know the markets inflated but we have to keep some kind of control on the finances and future of the club? Surley?
For me 50m is madness; but we should pay up now concidering. But I feel it's way more than that as it stands. Scary to think what we could get elsewhere with it. that's willian or Sanchez for God sake lol Any input would be great (I know you don't like talking finances, understand if no reply) thanks.

{Ed001's Note - depends on how it is structured, who we sell and when it needs paying by.}
