Dani Alves for a few years would be a brilliant signing. Still a good player and would be terrific for TAA to learn from without his path to 1st team being blocked. I know no interest and won't happen but would be sweet after we missed out on him from sevilla!

Alves is winger who was never good enough to play on the wing. Just watch him in the Champions League final, he was often Juve's furthest player forward. He would be annihilated playing in the PL.
I'm not saying he isn't good at what he does but his pace is gone, he has never in his life actually had to do any defending and would want £200k a week.
I would rather play Milner at RB.

To say a player who just had his most effective season in a while, culminating in a champions league final appearance with one of the top teams in Europe, would get annihilated in the Prem is ridiculous. Klopp gets our fullbacks to play as wingers anyway so don't see the problem there either. Him in rotation with our brightest prospect TAA would be perfect.

Agree with RedDawn. Playing with 3 world class centre backs makes him a force to be reckoned with. Anything less makes him a spectacular weak link that can and will be exploited.

Playing 3 at the back leaves a gaping hole behind the wing backs, if anything makes the wingback have to act as both winger and right back.

Never liked the bloke. Can be a very good player, but cheats, dives, whinges and cries to the ref incessantly. I would find it hard to like him even if he plays for my team.

Dani Alves, as a footballer, is vastly underrated. And i say that knowing how highly many rate him. He's had a fantastic career and would walk straight into our first team. delusional if you think otherwise. Milner ahead of him? Please.
