Surely the backline is where we should be putting all our resources in LB RB and CB and if Lucas leaves a CDM and that should be our lot its not rocket science if you've got the best attack and best defence then your either champions or if very unfortunate runners up!

That would be the way to go, Notso but some on here are just getting themselves wet over some 20 goal striker that should come in to bolster an area we don't need help in instead of focusing on the defence where we give up silly goals and crumble under pressure (18 points from winning positions last season) . Fix the defence, cut out the silly goals and hold on to leads when under pressure and you will either win the PL or get nail-bitingly close.

Obviously Brusselsred there are some fans on here who don't seem to think there is much wrong with our defence pity they couldn't explain to us why mate!
