Hi Eds,

Its being reported that Van Dijk is only interested in playing for liverpool. Do you think he will force his way out of Southampton, even if we ended our interest in him?

Ed2, what you think would happen to us if we actually signed him? possible ban? or is that just one of them we wouldn't know until a decision was made? because it's guaranteed surely, they'd make a complaint against us.

They know they won’t get 70mil for him from anybody else, they really just want to drag our arses through the mud an make us look as bad as possible (which we deserve tbh)

I wish the same as the eds that people will just move on from this, LFC includes and don’t look back. He isn’t worth the money let alone all the trouble.

We should start tapping up the spurs center backs as they are much better xD (god I hope someone from LFC doesn't read this and actually start doing it)

Personally think a bid should be placed for vvd, but we have to pay for the way it was handled. I feel an extra 10 million might fix the situation. Looking forward to the next 2 months and we can see what happens

If the club really want the player they should have a very private conversation where nobody except the people in that room know. And we will pretty much have to bend over for them. or we should just move on. Dragging this on will only piss off saints more, potentially ruin another young players career and make us look even worse.

Sorry ed002 I didn't mean to imply Southampton are doing anything wrong.
What I mean by dragging us through the mud is they are trying to make us let go and stop chasing VVD (or any of their players from now on probably)

They have slapped a 70mil price tag on him which they know nobody would pay for, because we really want him we have to (literally) pay for our mistake and pretty much compensate them for our misdoing by giving them nearly 3x what he is actually worth.

Southampton aren't doing anything wrong as IMO they are owed big time by LFC for what we have done in the first place.

I think everybody just needs to stop talking about this now (myself included sorry) until either LFC actually make genuine bid, or something happens with it on deadline day which I think it will.

{Ed002's Note - All of the other clubs that are pissed at Liverpool are pissed because of irresponsible and illegal behavior. It repeatedly gets the club in to trouble. Everyone seems keen to brush off the ban that vthey already have in place for completely ruining the career oif a 12 year old and plunging his family in to debt. Hey, way to go Liverpool.}

Liverpool FC should be made to sort the family out financially and put every effort to sort the young lads future out whether in football or anywhere else.
