Really enjoy watching Woodburn play, looks ahead of his time.
Always composed on the ball and see's the picture in front of him before receiving the ball. Think we have some player on are hands.
Think he'll get game time this season.

Agreed mate, looks a promising player especially for is age, also it doesn't get mentioned much but I actually think Kent looks a decent little player himself. Always looks to beat his man and puts in a decent ball.

It's only pre season but Kent does look a good player. IMO would be good to keep around for a season and see how he does.

keeping him around might not be in his best intrest, just as it is with Ward. Moreno looked a bit better I must admit.

I agree with what your saying, he has real potential but I can't see him getting much game time personally, we have too many options. I hope I'm wrong of course, best thing for him (in my opinion) would be a loan to somewhere like Huddersfield for a season, impress there then come back and challenge for a place in the starting 11.

Like dilldog12 has rightly said, there's also Kent, who is looking pretty special in my eyes but it looks like he's off out on loan, I think right now for these 2 lads it's the best thing, They need game time and I fear here they won't be getting it this season. Though of course, I hope I'm dead wrong, I'd love to see them stop with us and get game time every now and then, I just can't see it 'yet'.

You think of TAA a season or two ago, I think they (Kent and Woodburn) are at that stage, looking brilliant, a lot of potential, TAA is now in the position where he can challenge for the starting 11 and steal Clynes place (one can only hope) . Best thing for TAA is for him to rotate with Milner for the RB position, Milner will help him out.

For the first time in along time, I'm excited about our youngsters, we have some real gems, I just hope we use them. Especially Ojo.

Agree Bilverstone Woodburn looks excellent - great touch, always got his head up, intelligent player. This season might be too soon for him to be playing in lots of games but certainly he has a lot of potential - hopefully we can see him make the step up soon. I do wonder as well if his position will change in future - I know he operates as a winger now but with his intelligence and touch (combined with the fact he is not the fastest) perhaps an attacking midfield position might favour him more in the future?

Also think TAA is going to usurp Clyne this season - the lad has a ton of potential and already, in my opinion, offers more than Clyne going forward. The earlier he starts playing regular the quicker he will learn - hope he gets games this season.
